More Than a New Name – Enhanced Product Development and Project Delivery
In March 2011 FLSmidth completed their acquisition of Essa Australia. The takeover was fully supported by Essa’s Board of Directors who recognised that the acquisition was the ideal opportunity to ensure the future growth of the company.
FLSmidth provides Essa with the technological and project management expertise, underpinned by financial security, to expand further into the project automation market for mineral sampling and analysis systems.
“Essa is a high quality equipment provider to the global mining industry and will play an important role in FLSmidth’s international growth strategy” affirms Mr Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, Group Chief Executive Officer of FLSmidth.
